About Us

It all started after a friend of mine started telling me about his interest in bamboo and how he had developed a real passion for the plants, curiosity or something not quite sure what, prompted me to check out what all the fuss was about. It did not take me  long to understand why he had such a   passion for the bamboos, and by that time, not only me but my sister wanted to grow these intriguing plants.

 

Not really knowing anything about bamboos or where to buy them from was a bit of a worry, and it was a real stroke of good fortune when my sister came across a very knowledgeable local grower.

 

 

Being a generous man he invited us both to his nursery where he gave up hours of his valuable time to guide us through his wonderful collection of bamboos, some of which were rare species. This inspired us and through his guidance we started our first collection.

 

To date we have  50 different species of bamboo available
